Whitecroft Lighting are proud to announce the opening of their new Technical Centre, which makes up part of the Ashton-under-Lyne head office facility. The centre, which is responsible for the testing and conformity of all Whitecroft luminaires under the management of Design Director Matt Paskin, has been completely refurbished and expanded to allow more thorough testing of a wide range of luminaires. As well as housing one of only a few far field Goniophotometers in the UK, the Technical Centre now has designated facilities for Safety, Endurance, Thermal, EMC and Photometric Performance testing of all types of luminaires
The 3 month refurbishment programme has created a more productive working environment, with forward thinking technical ability. Design Director Matt Paskin commented “This new centre will enable us to shorten the development time of luminaires, allowing new designs to get to market faster whilst allowing us to remain flexible and responsive to future technical trends“.
The Technical Centre houses dedicated office space for the laboratory staff and meeting areas allowing the technical team to liaise regularly with their design team counterparts. The Design Studio is linked directly to the Technical Centre, creating an impressive design and testing facility.
This centre forms an important part of Whitecroft’s unique customer experience, which allows clients access to the whole of the Whitecroft operation, giving them a comprehensive understanding of the design, development, manufacturing and project management process that makes Whitecroft the UK’s leading lighting manufacturer.
