Whitecroft Lighting has achieved ISO 45001 certification for Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems. This significant achievement reflects our commitment to ensuring the safety, health, and well-being of our employees, partners, and customers.
ISO 45001 is an internationally recognised standard that sets the benchmark for creating and implementing effective Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems. This certification signifies that we have successfully met rigorous criteria and demonstrated the ability to identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks and hazards within the workplace.
Robert Bates, Operational Director, comments: “Achieving IS0 45001 certification was a strategic goal we set ourselves in 2020, and receiving certification is a great achievement by the team.
ISO 45001 certification demonstrates that we have a solid foundation of Health and Safety procedures.
We must all recognise that achieving ISO 45001 is still the beginning of our journey to becoming a world-class safety organisation.
No accident within the business is acceptable and we all have a responsibility to make Whitecroft a safe place to work.”
This achievement marks our third ISO certification, having already secured ISO 14001 Environmental Management and ISO 9001 Quality Management.
To maintain our ISO 45001 certificate, starting from September 2023, we are subject to regular audits on a 6-monthly basis, where we will be required to implement proactive improvements which are identified on each visit, thus driving continual improvement.
Congratulations to the entire team on this remarkable accomplishment, with a special mention to Oliver Wallace BSc (Hons) TechIOSH, Health, Safety and Sustainability Officer, for your hard work and dedication to this project.
Together, we light the way to build a safer future!
