The graduation day was organised to celebrate the successful completion of learner’s respective courses, reflecting on the challenges they have overcome throughout their journeys, balancing career development with their daily responsibilities.
To continue to encourage growth and tenacity, we welcomed world record holder and adventure athlete Adriana Brownlee to Whitecroft.
Adriana, the youngest female to summit the world’s second-highest peak and conquer Mount Everest at 18, shared insights into leadership, teamwork, and resilience through her experiences.
During her speech, Adriana talked through her challenges. She offered parallels in everyday life, providing practical advice for Whitecroft staff to develop their leadership, teamwork, and resilience, fostering personal growth and professional excellence.
The audience engaged with enthusiasm, inspired by Adriana's achievements, seeking additional tips to integrate into their workflows.
"We want someone with challenges and achievements at a young age to motivate the people at Whitecroft," said Jayne Baker, Head of HR and event organizer.
Following Adriana’s talk, Whitecroft’s Director, David Serif, commended and congratulated the graduates on their career milestone.
"It's been a truly inspirational talk; amazing that you had a dream when you were young. It's been absolutely fantastic to listen to," Said Director David Serif in response to Adriana's presentation.
