Amanda Rushby Appointed Head of Strategic Partnering

Whitecroft Lighting has appointed Amanda Rushby as its new Head of Strategic Partnering.
A new role within the business, Amanda’s promotion is recognition of the growing importance of partnership working, with an increasing number of larger, repeat customers choosing to form aligned, strategic relationships that promote consistent excellence.
Amanda will utilise her 12 years’ experience in lighting and construction to further develop strategic partnerships across the UK, some of which have been built over twenty years.
Designed to deliver a range of benefits through the alignment of values, practices and principles, strategic partnerships allow for a deepening level of understanding and collaboration between Whitecroft and its partners.
This can include harmonising approaches in key areas, such as whole life carbon targets, waste reduction, circularity, safety, and supply chain welfare, allowing both parties to build on a shared foundation.
Amanda said, “Since joining the business in June 2023, I have been deeply impressed by Whitecroft Lighting’s, and the wider Fagerhult Group’s, environmental, social and governance (ESG) strategies, with our net-zero ambitions set by science-based targets."
“Our commitment to reducing carbon at every stage of lighting and promoting other aspects of social value has certainly resonated positively with our strategic partners, further aligning our values and reducing our impact on the planet."
“The industry is going through an instrumental period of change, but I am delighted to work for a company that is prepared to lead from the front in these areas.”
Phill Lever, National Sales Director said: “We’re delighted to have Amanda on board, and I’m certain this new role will play to her strengths, because, in a just short time, Amanda has driven all our strategic accounts forward without exception.”
