About the role
This role is to support the production manager to ensure Programming duties are undertaken to the highest quality and in an agreed, suitable timeline whilst maintaining a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities
• To ensure all safe working practices are being adhered to throughout the site, ensuring correct PPE is being worn and taking corrective action to deal with any non-compliance.
• To ensure the department is running in line with the company’s environmental policy, waste being segregated and pallets etc. stored in the correct locations.
• To ensure programmes have been programmed to a high optimised standard and have been tested operationally.
• To ensure all previous program revisions have been archived and take responsibility for revision management.
• To effectively deliver the highest quality programs to the design and production teams ensuring substantial feedback is given to all relevant parties in a timely and professional manner.
• To ensure the product has been manufactured to a high level and been designed around our key equipment, therefore guaranteeing that all products have been designed for manufacture.
• To attend all requested DFMs and communicate back to the production teams any relevant feedback or upcoming projects.
Specific Skill Requirements
• Previous experience of working within a manufacturing / engineering environment
• Experience of using SAP would be beneficial, however is not essential
• GCSE Maths & English or equivalent
• Intermediate level of IT literacy - Microsoft office
• Excellent Communication skills in both verbal and written format
• Demonstrates attention to detail
• Ability to build strong working relationships
